Profil:

The advancement of science and research plays a crucial role within the HELIOS Clinics group. In order to be able to promote this field in as targeted and efficient a manner as possible, in March 2002 HRC GmbH was set up as a daughter company of HELIOS Klinikum GmbH. The HRC sees itself as a mediator and interface between the scientific activities of HELIOS members of staff and external interested parties as far as opportunities for carrying out clinical trials or research projects are concerned. The Research Center supports research and other scientific staff using the funding obtained from clinical studies and their professional execution. This allows the researchers to concentrate on their projects. The HELIOS Research Center GmbH receives 76% of its support from HELIOS Klinikum GmbH and 24% from the Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine (MDC) Berlin-Buch.
