Berlin-Buch is the most north-eastern of the 13 parts that make up the Berlin district of Pankow. To the north and east it borders the province of Brandenburg and to the south the Pankow district of Karow.
Berlin-Buch has played a key role in the history of health affairs for over a hundred years and is only thirty minutes by underground from the Potsdamer Platz.
The city's head of town planning, Ludwig Hoffmann, was responsible for Buch's unique architectural features.
